It's Time2Dine


This coming Friday will see the launch of Time2Dine, a brand new online service allowing diners to book, choose and pay for food before even stepping foot inside the restaurant.

Created in Glasgow by a family owned business, Time2Dine launches with three restaurants: Amore on Ingram Street, Cafe India on Albion Street and La Vita on Kirkintilloch Road in Bishopbriggs. All diners will receive a 10% discount from 6pm Friday until 8pm Sunday.

Carolyn Mandache, CEO of Time2Dine, said: “We’ve been working on the concept and software for nearly two years so my team and I are delighted to see it come to life. I know our participating restaurants can’t wait to welcome the first wave of diners this weekend. In addition, we have lots of other restaurants that will be available via the website soon.”

A complete integrated solution, Time2Dine offers not only booking and payment online for diners, but a hardware point of sale system for restaurants. This helps restaurants maximise efficiency and tailor their offers to suit customer preferences. Instead of diners spending up to an hour waiting to order and pay the bill, they will be able to enjoy their meal and spend that wasted time doing something else.

The features of this system are head and shoulders above every other. The rollout has been so smooth and we’re looking forward to receiving our first bookings.”

The Marketing Department has been assisting Carolyn and the team for the last few months and devised the Time2Dine visual brand. We’ve also had input in creating the customer experience and user interfaces of the software.
